Dr. Shifra Gross is a forensic psychologist with extensive experience in mental health and behavioral health interventions. She began her academic journey at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C., where she earned her master’s degree in forensic psychology. During her graduate studies, she worked at Prince George’s County Jail, providing therapy, crisis management interventions, and mental health support to incarcerated individuals.

Her pursuit of expertise led her to the Florida Institute of Technology, where she earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in forensic and behavioral health integration. During this time, she gained hands-on experience across a wide range of clinical settings, including substance abuse clinics, community mental health centers, jails, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient neuropsychiatric facilities.

As part of her doctoral training, Dr. Gross completed a comprehensive internship at Georgia Regional Hospital in Atlanta, focusing on competency restoration and the treatment of individuals with severe mental illnesses. Upon graduating in 2023, she joined the Treasure Coast Forensic Treatment Center, where she continues her work in forensic mental health.
